The Vidzeme Sports Association of Valmiera had a success in the season`s first canoe slalom competitions among Baltic countries Kadrina International Swimming Pool Slalom, Estonia. In Junior categories Emīls Varslavāns obtained an indisputable gold in K1 – kayak solo and silver in C1 – canoe solo, Matīss Sils got a bronze, and Kaspars Pakers won a silver medal in C1 in the Open category.
The Kadrina International Swimming Pool Slalom is a traditional start of the season for Canoe Slalom in Baltic. We thank the competition organisers for keeping the tradition for the sixth year and we wish us all the successful season.
