Regarding the spread of coronavirus disease Covid-19 and the orders of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia and local government leaders to suspend sports training and competitions, it was decided to cancel all public events organized by the Latvian Canoe Association and its members. The decision takes effect on 13 March 2020 and remains in force until it is revoked.
