There were 79 participants in the MK1 class. Representatives of the “Brīvie ūdeņi” canoe club showcased outstanding technical skills and experience in their individual runs, achieving excellent results: Atis Berzins and Mārtiņš Onskulis each secured 10th place in their age groups.
In the MC1 class, 31 competitors participated. Aivars Eiduks finished 4th in his age group in the individual runs in this class.
In addition to individual competitions, Aivars Eiduks, along with his Italian colleagues, participated in the MC1 team events, where they won a historic bronze medal. This achievement not only demonstrated Aivars Eiduks experience but also highlighted the unity of the canoe slalom community in achieving excellent results together.
The participation and performance of Latvian athletes in these competitions is an excellent aproval to the strength of Latvia’s canoe slalom traditions and the high level of preparedness on the international stage.
